EWA ROSSANO

A renowned artist who has presented her works at many individual and collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad (including at the European Parliament in Strasbourg or UNESCO in Paris). The author of the statuettes: Angelus – Central Europe Literary Award and Prix International Jean Rey. At the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, she obtained a diploma in painting, and at the École supérieure des arts décoratifs in Strasbourg she graduated in sculpture and glass. She also studied at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. The combination of two materials: bronze and glass, is characteristic for her work. The latter often appears in the works in the form of a colorful pâte de verre. The intense use of color proves the artist’s painting skills and makes us perceive her art as interdisciplinary, drawing on various techniques and artistic means of expression.
